Following is the plan of The WebX 2.0:
- The Bloggers Workshop (Intro and Blog setup):
The first part of the bloggers workshop will focus on a small introduction to blogging, micro blogging and online social media. The attendees will be presented with a case-study about blogging and along with that it will be taught how to setup your blog using the WordPress, tumblr and posterous platform.
– The Bloggers Workshop (Revenue and Marketing):
This part of the bloggers workshop will focus on how to bring in revenue through your blog using various online advertising options and how to market your blog and bring in more traffic.
This time at WebX 2.0 we are going to “bring back the old memories.” Yes that is true! A Classic Games Competition will be held where you can play one of the world’s most famous classic games like Mario, Pac Man and more!
A great chance for you to submit your blog for a review by our expert panel! On first come first serve basis, we will take five blogs (submitted on thewebx.org) and our expert panel will give feedback on S.E.O, Post quality, Keyword and title optimization!
Three promising startups from Pakistan will be showcased. You will get a chance to meet the people behind the startup and will get a chance to ask questions!
Top bloggers from all over Pakistan will be asked to share their success stories along with top brands who have managed to market their brands on blogs and have been successful in this strategy. A question/answer session will be held where the audience will be able to ask questions to the bloggers.
- Success Stories by Social Media Experts:
Pakistan’s leading social media experts will share their success stories and will engage with audience in a Question/Answer session.
Bloggers from across the nation will join for a discussion on blogging and web related topics.
We will give you a theme and you come up with a 120 sec long video on YouTube! Win great prizes too! The video must not be more then 120 seconds.The topic of video should be Social Media and it MUST have the WebX logo inside in it. Please submit your videos to us by 4:00 pm Day 1 (i.e 2nd June 2011).
